    INSTALL STEPS

THESE STEPS ARE FOR SC 2.x (the XF1 version of Showcase)

This add-on can be installed using the Add-On Installer (Add-on Install & Upgrade).

Alternatively, if you do not have the Add-On Installer, you can manually install this add-on following the steps below.

Step 1: Unpack/Extract the contents of the Zip file.
Step 2: Upload the contents of the upload folder to the root of your XenForo installation.
Step 3: Install Add-on in the Admin CP using the provided XML file.

Once you complete step 3, you are ready for configuration (which is needed before you can use it).

    CONFIGURATION

One of the first things you should do is make sure that all the Administrators have Administrator Permission to "Manage Showcase.

Users >> Administrators >> click on the individual admin and make sure to check "Manage Showcase"

Step 1: You will need to create at least 1 category. Applications >> Showcase >> Category Management.

Step 2: Set all the various "Options" (there are a lot). Home >> Options >> Showcase

Step 3: User Group Permissions. Edit each user group and set the appropriate Showcase Permissions for each group (both Users and Moderator permissions).

Once those steps are complete, all that is left is to access Showcase on the Frontend and start using it by creating some events

Starting with Showcase 1.3.0, there is an additional Post Upgrade step that you MUST run.

Tools >> Rebuild Caches >> Rebuild Showcase Thumbnails
