I am currently experimenting with setting up LD as a glossary. To get a cleaner items list, I would like to remove the "avatar column" entirely (displayed in green below).

This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
This has been implemented in Link Directory 2.2.18

There is a new Link Directory: Appearance Style Property element for List View Layout Type that lets you disable the Cover Image | Avatar element.

IMPORTANT NOTE: AS PART OF POST UPGRADE STEPS, YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THIS NEW ELEMENT IS PROPERLY SET! IT SHOULD PICK UP AS SET, BUT CHECK ANYWAY!
