To get a cleaner articles list for a glossery, I would like to remove the "avatar column" entirely (displayed in green below).

This has been implemented in AMS 2.2.28

There is a new AMS: Appearance Style Property element for List View Layout Type that lets you disable the Cover Image | Avatar element.

IMPORTANT NOTE: AS PART OF POST UPGRADE STEPS, YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THIS NEW ELEMENT IS PROPERLY SET! IT SHOULD PICK UP AS SET, BUT CHECK ANYWAY!
