Is there any way to set a daily or monthly limit for articles per user? I know there is an addon that allow maximum post number of post per day or hours.

Does the Max articles per user settings works the same way as i mentioned above. Or it will restrict the author to a particular limit.

I needed it be per minute or hours.

Something like that would require customization (programming). Nothing built into AMS (nor Core XF for that matter), so it would have to be 100% custom.

Yes, that is what that permission is for eg, registered user group might be restricted to a maximum of X articles TOTAL, where as another user group might have unlimited.

It's not designed as a frequency based limit feature.
