Answered AMS style override and second level navigation tabs

I am creating a website for an association using AMS. I want the articles to have a different style than the association's forum. This will make it easier for visitors to understand that there is an article site and a forum, and that they serve a slightly different purpose.

I have turned on style override in the AMS settings. Almost everything works as I want, but the second-level navigation is a bit of a headache, and I would need some expert help with that.

When you click on the tabs in the second row, some of the pages that open use the same theme as AMS. Some of the pages (marked in orange) use the default XenForo style, which is used on the forum side.

How could I solve this?

Unfortunately, those 4 navigation links takes the viewing user to non AMS pages (Find New Handler, Search Handler and Watch Handler). Those pages are rendered by core XF controllers, not rendered by AMS controllers. As far as I know, there are no tricks or hacks to make different content types render different styles with in those areas. Same with moderation queue. This was brought up before on xenforo.com for the XFRM and was given the same response.

I ended up using the same style for the entire XenForo. I'll change the top menu tabs to a different color and create a little bit of a separation between the article section and the forum.

Thanks for the support!
