Path to Category Image hard coded to default style

Hello there,

I have noticed when uploading a category icon, that it seems it is requiring you to upload the same image to 2 different locations.

On the Sportsbook homepage, and event page, it is looking for the category image on:/styles/default/

On the sidebar (up-coming events), it is looking for the category image on: /styles/black_responsive_blue (being that my default style).

I'm not sure if this is intended behavior, do we have to upload the same category image on both xF default and our default style?

Yes, this is standard Core XenForo behavior. You must upload images to EACH STYLE that you are using. This is so that each style can use a completely different set of images eg Dark Styles can use images made to blend with Dark Layouts and Light Styles can used images blended to Light Layouts.



There is probably still some OLD XF 1.x legacy stuff that might be hard coded to only pull from the default style directory instead of using src="@imagePath/. Each one of these places will need to be identified individually and changed to the proper way (which is to pull from the specific style that is being viewed). So when you find one, just post the PAGE and LOCATION (screen shots are best).

Never mind, I just did a quick template search and found 12 places in 7 different templates (all relating to Category Images only).
