I just updated from 1.8.2 to 1.9.1 and I find the new event creation very annoying, unless I'm missing a setting somewhere.

I used to create an event, and immediately go to the page where I enter outcomes and can set the status from pending to open, meanwhile, I now have to click edit, open a new page, and set the event to open.

With tens of thousands of events we make (literally) this is a major strain...

Is there anyway I can make an event and ALWAYS have it set to OPEN, as opposed to PENDING which requires even more navigation than before just to get it to OPEN?

It would require modifying and adding programming code in multiple php files.

Sportsbook 1.10.0 has an option on the create event form that lets you set the Status (Pending, Open, Closed) when creating a new event (you can even set via sportsbook options, which status is selected by default). This is one of the first changes I made when I started working on SB 1.10.0 several months ago.

I will literally massage your toes while singing songs for you IRL if you bless me with this update. Please, it'll cut event creation time by 60%. Throw a beta at me
