Updated Convert Thread to Showcase Item: add option to convert Posts to Comments

As per title, the Convert Thread to Showcase Item feature now includes an option to convert Posts to Comments.

There are a two things that you need to know about to understand how this option works.

• The Category that the Showcase Item is being created in MUST allow comments in order for Posts to be converted into Comments.
• Posts that are converted into Comments will be permanently deleted from the discussion thread during the convert process.

Post Attachments and Post Likes will be converted to Comment Attachments and Comment Likes.

The BULK convert Threads to Showcase Items via inline moderation also include the ability to convert Posts to Comments.

Same rule apply:

• The Category that the Showcase Items are being created in MUST allow comments in order for Posts within those Threads to be converted into Comments within those Showcase Items.
• Posts that are converted into Comments will be permanently deleted from the discussion threads during the convert process.
