As per title... can not currently upload attachments to a Blog if the Image Optimization option is enabled. This is due to a hard requirement of the .webp extension, which is currently not an allowed extension type for the Blog Attachment Handler.
This has been resolved in UBS 2.3.3

Note: This only effected Blogs, not Blog Entries, Reviews, Comments, Series and only came into play IF you had the new XF 2.3 option "Image Optimization" enabled.
