Would it be better if the field name is shown but its values hidden so that guest users know some interesting info is available and they need to register or log in to see those.. let the users know we have lots of candies... otherwise they might not know if the info is even available.....
example: if it is set for Premuim user groups only... say "(You need to be a Premium member to see this info)"... and all sorts of messages based on the few generic criteria like usergroups.
this will motivate the users to register or log in = Good for our forums
