Looks great :)

How easy is it to add other sports, specifically English Football (soccer)?

Do you just add the 20 teams in the league and then enter the whole seasons fixtures or do you need to enter each team name each week? Also can it handle a team having more than 1 match a week?

Pickem Beta2b just went out to specific Beta Testers to test the Cascading Delete Functionality for the new Admin CP Administration. Once all Admin CP "stuff" has been passed, all that is left are a few tweaks to the frontend and it will be released via the Store. Shooting for NLT End of week.

You know, I haven't gone into the Pickem addon to test it yet. I think it will work perfectly for some plans that I have :D

Gonna check it out in the near future, that's for sure :)

Just a couple sneak peeks so you can see how its coming along ;)

This first shot is of a Completed Week that has been scored and finalized.

This 2nd shot is of the current week in progress. You'll notice a difference between the 2.. first is the 2nd player module. Its "Hidden" until the week Closes (this is so you can't look at other players picks until the week is closed). The 2nd thing is the sidebar. Its all GRAY... this is because the games have no happened yet, but there have been picks made of them (You can see these charts change through out the open period of a week).

The Pick & Game Distro's are only available for Normal and Spread Pools. They are NOT available for Draw Pools Yet. Draw Pools are charted a lot different and I am in the process of coming up with a nice solution for that.

Anywho............. back to work so I can get this released ;)

Added a Premier League Demo pool as well so that you can mess around with the Draw Pools.
Nice work - I am looking forward to buying this as soon as it comes out.

One thing I have noticed is that the teams are displayed - Visitor - at - Home, for football the Home team should always be shown first left to right - example - "Home - at - Away" - I guess NFL etc is different?

Anyway it looks great

Home is ALWAYS to the RIGHT and on the BOTTOM. That is a SPORT Standard.

The Standard is AWAY TEAM @ HOME TEAM
or

AWAY TEAM
HOME TEAM

HOME @ AWAY is NOT standard.

Anyway to make it so to pick, members need to have forum cash? Maybe each week could be a flat rate for all games. This way members need to post to make forum cash to bet.

Not for football in Europe, the home team is always listed first.

It has absolutely nothing to do with "Europe" or "football", but the proper use of vs and @ or AT listings.

When using VS, yes, the Home Team is listed first as that is the standard when using VS (verses). Not when using AT or @ however (explained below).

As mentioned above HOME @ AWAY is the standard in Europe - we like to be awkward ;)

see fixture list in the right sidebar here http://www1.skysports.com/football/competitions/premier-league

You contradict your self with your link as the link source uses the VS standard, not the AT or @ standard.

so, just to clear some things up here...

When listing team sports events using the @ (short for the word AT) symbol or AT, the standard is @ Home Team or AT Home Team.

When listing team sports events (like in your link above) using VS (short for verses), the standard is VS Away Team.

VS is not a replacement for nor means the same thing as @ or AT.

There is a distinct difference between @ or AT and VS. The @ symbol or AT term is used to designate the location of where the sport is taking place which is @ Home Team or AT Home Team, not @Away Team or AT Away Team. The use of VS is used to designate the team that is visiting, hence vs Away Team and not vs Home Team.

One listing is not a "Standard" over the other. They are simply different formats. They are BOTH used globally and both used for the same sports (I can show plenty of sites that use @ listing for Premier League as well as plenty of sites that show VS for the NFL). It just depends on which format the publication source wants to use.

As far as Pickem is concerned, it is using the @ listing standard throughout. Someday down the road as the addon grows in size and functionality, I might add in the ability to chose @ Standard or VS Standard, but for now its the @ standard.

Not without a lot of coding (and I mean A LOT). I doubt I will add anything like this to pickem... sorry.

Ok that explains the confusion then, I have never ever come across the AT standard only the VS method, in the UK we seem to use the VS method only, can't speak for the rest of Europe.

Same here, never seen the AT standard used in the UK. Everything is always listed with the home team first. Now I learnt something new today, thanks Bob!

If it cause problems with members, let me know and I can at least provide you a couple template changes for the Picks view and Picks Edit View :)
