Local to live import: would it be possible?

I want to install Showcase on a stock, virgin and local XF install and then use the default account (userid=1) to add content. Adding all the content I need will take me around 2 weeks so when I'm ready I want to install Showcase on my live forum and then import all the content from my local install and after the migration is successful, map all the content to the proper userid and finally configure Showcase options and permissions.

Would it be possible, assuming that I can have both databases on the same server during the migration?

Is there a tool to achieve something like this bundled on Showcase? And if it isn't, could you assist providing the queries to achieve what I'm looking for?

This isn't something I am going to discuss with a non developer. I do not recommend a non developer attempting this as there are things that come into play that a non developer wouldn't have an understanding about (and its not my place to teach you).

Again, this isn't something I am going to discuss with a non developer. I would suggest hiring a professional as they will have an understanding of everything that needs to be done (and they are most likely going to suggest to you that you don't do it this way).
