I don't think these have been requested, and I'm not even sure if they can be fixed or adjusted, but I'm throwing them out there.

1) I have some users complain that they come back to the site after a period of time, and they can't see what the "new" showcase items are that are displayed at the top of the page. This is normally because there was a new event created, closed, and settled while the user was away, but the only way they can actually see these is to go through ALL the filters to display the events (open, closed, settled, awaiting), and look at the events, or more realistically, click the "Mark Events Used" link. Is there a way to show ONLY and ALL the actual "new" events, whether they are open, closed, settled, or awaiting settlement? It appears that there is always at least one filter applied, such as "open".

2) Using the filters, it looks like that they are ordered by their creation date, or something simliar, but for instance, if I filter by "settled" events, and then click on the "paid out" tab, it appears that the events are not sorted in any particular order, or they are in event name order. I'd like to be able to click the "settled" filter, and the "paid out" tab, and see events in the same order (by date).

Let me know if I'm just being an idiot, or if there is something useful in all that gibberish.

The defaulting to the "Open" filter is GOING AWAY! It is BY FAR the single most complained about feature in ANY of my addons. btw, I THINK (I'd have to look) that I've already changed the "New Events" indicator to only pull based on OPEN items (that is, in the NEXT Major release, not the current release). That way they don't have (5) and find out they are all "Closed" or "Settled".

FILTERS = narrowing down a LARGE set of results to a SMALL set of "Specific" results. There is no "sorting" involved with filters. The ONLY thing a filter does is NARROW the results set. IE, if you FILTER by "Settled", only events that have been SETTLED will be returned. Nothing more, nothing less. That is ALL the filters do.

SORTING TABS = returning the results in a specific ORDER. Doesn't matter what FILTERS you have set, the ORDER is "SET" by the specific tab that you click on.

Newest Action = sorted by create date of the event
Odds Update = sorted by the last edit date (which is updated when ever an outcome is added/modified/deleted)
Top Action = sorted by the total amount of wagers that have been placed on outcomes within the event
Handle = sorted by the total amount staked on the event
Paid Out = sorted by the total amount paid out on the event

The PAID OUT TAB is only any good when filtered by Settled as PAID OUT = o (zero) for ALL items that have yet to be settled.

Same thing applies on the "Your Wagers" page. Some of the Filters and Sort Tabs only are really useable once an event has been settled.
