Implemented Comment System Type

One of the most common questions I get asked about the comments system is "How can I change the default sort order for the comments section so that it is the same as discussion threads (oldest to newest)". Along with "and put the editor at the bottom of the comments".

Well, now it's as simple as setting the Comment System Type. At the bottom of the Sportsbook General Options tab is a new option that lets you set the type of comments system you wish to use.


Traditional Style: Traditional style has the comments editor at the TOP of the comments section and fetches comments from newest to oldest. This is how it currently is and is also the default option. Your users will still have the ability to sort by Date: Oldest to Newest as well as Likes (Most to Least).




Discussion Style: Discussion style has the comments editor at the BOTTOM of the comments section and fetches comments from oldest to newest (just like a discussion thread fetches posts hence the name "discussion style"). Your users will also have the ability to sort by Date: Newest to Oldest as well as Likes (Most to Least).

NOTE: The Sort Comments By DATE sorting changes depending on which comment system is enabled. Which ever system is enabled, that systems sort type will be listed first.
