Can we limit the length of the Quote block in threads?

Hi @Bob . Is it possible to limit the number of characters/words that appear in the expanded quote block when a showcase item generates a thread in the forums?

yes, its a setting on the Showcase Options, General Options Tab

Hi @Bob . I had found this, but it doesn't seem to pull through in the threads. For example, I've set it to 50 characters and the expanded quote box still shows all the text:

 

[Bob]

It's used when creating the snippet when initially creating the thread/post. Once the post is made, it doesn't change. That quote is a POST just like any other post.
