This has been implemented in AMS 2.2.32
I've added a "Prefixes" criteria that allows admins to select one or more prefixes (this is multi select, just like Categories).
This criteria works just like the Categories in that if you select a prefix (or multiple prefixes), only articles that have any of the selected prefixes applied to them, will be considered.
In the screenshot below, only articles that have the prefix "Breaking News" applied to them will be considered for being auto featured.
