I doubt I will add BBCODE or HTML parsing to Comments. Future plans are for Discussion thread integration instead (which will then have all the bells and whistles you want/need).
Sorry Bob, I know this thread is prehistoric - just to clarify, comments use the core WYSIWYG editor, but comment "replies" do not, correct? Just want to make sure I'm not missing a setting somewhere to enable the WYSIWYG editor for the replies.Never say never...
Comments are now fully parsed and use the core xf WYSIWYG editor for input. Reply's to comments also parse bbcode.
Why are you asking about Sportsbook Comments? They are not even remotely the same as Showcase Comments.Sorry Bob, I know this thread is prehistoric - just to clarify, comments use the core WYSIWYG editor, but comment "replies" do not, correct? Oh hell, sorry. I misread. Why are you asking about Sportsbook Comments? They are not even remotely the same as Showcase Comments.
lol... no worries. The answer is the same tho in this case. Replies do parse bbcode, however, I do not implement the Rich Text Editor for replies, just standard text area input. Its not something you can make a template edit to change either, it involves VIEW files and special handling in saves actions within the comments controller.Oh hell, sorry. I misread.
Ahhhh, bummer. Probably not a big request from others but I'll put my suggestion in for it anyway in the correct forum.lol... no worries. The answer is the same tho in this case.
