The function in AMS really enhances articles. Please consider to add the same for Showcase items. This will be very useful.

I won't implement this in a public addon until there is much more development and testing with AMS.
 
Once I have my big board migration completed there will be a lot of testing out AMS functionality. My users generally find the most exotic bugs and use cases. If there are any.
