How about the possibility to bet on multiple results?

Team A victory at 1,3 against Team B
Team C victory at 2,5 against Team D
Draw at 1,85 in Team F vs Team E

Total: 1,3*2,5*1,85 = 6,0125

So I bet 10 credits on this triplet and I get back (if I hit all the three) 60,125 credits.

Maybe adding multipliers for group of three or more. Or leaving admin the choice on that.


Another thing independent from what above:
Some usergroups (VIP? Donators?) get a default multiplier.

That is not how PARLAYS work. Parlays still have one set of odds tied to a single outcome that has multiple results associated with it.

This is an example of how a parlay would be:

Event: NFL Parlays Week 1
Description: Various Parlays for week 1 of the NFL Pre Season

Outcome: AFC West Sweep: Raiders, Broncos, Chiefs, Chargers all win. 250:100
Outcome: All HOME teams win. 5000:1
Outcome: AFC South Sweep: Colts, Texans, Titans, Jaguars all win. 350:100
Outcome: Florida Sweep: Jags, Bucs, Fish all win. 500:100
Outcome: Cali Sweep: Raiders, Niners, Chargers all win. 125:100
Outcome: Brady, Manning, Palmer combine for 10 touchdowns. 250:100

Payouts only happen on Parlays if the entire parlay is correct and the payout is one set of established odds.

In your case above: Team A & C win, Team F & E end in Draw: oddsdds

Parlays are fun, but very difficult to win.

I'll look into it. If its to much of an impact on the core code, then I won't do it as its more of a novelty thing than actual real world wagering functionality. I understand that some people would like it, I just hope you understand that I am trying to maintain integrity in the core addon. Nothing wrong with people customizing this and writing addons that extend core functionality.

My suggestion are always intended in make the product better, more appealing for new customers and old customers for the renewall, then is up to you know if the game's worth the candle or not.

Parlays is something I was interested as well. I won some ok money betting parlays a few years ago. They can be fun to do.

If someone has a store they are using the money for then it can be good and bad. It allows someone to win large amounts of money (points/credits) but at the same time we all know parlays are not easy as well so it could lower members banks pretty easy.

I think it would be nice to have then but allow admins to turn the feature on and off. Also have the option to do 2-8 games or so on a parlay. But have it adjustable so on admin could allow 8 games while another might only allow 3.

I've been doing PARLAYS with vbookie and Sportsbook for over a decade now.

Yeah I know what a parlay is but a member can't select one themselves can they? By looking at that you are creating a parlay for someone to bet on. With the Jags, Bucs and Fish parlay. If I wanted Jags, Bucs, Cowboys I couldn't do that because it wasn't created. I also couldn't add in the Bulls to that.

I have used online sports books for at least 5 years. All I have to do isthe amount of games, the sports I want to pick from (not all are available to be added into a parlay) then pick my games and bet amount. I have done this on Pinnacle Sports, 5Dimes and Bet Phoenix.

I know how those (select from a pool) systems work as I've written software to do it. Each outcome (Team) has multiple sets of odds associated with it as well as a probability of win or loss factors (high and low) associated with them so that if multiple high probability win teams get bunched together, the payout odds are low where as the more low probability of win factor is in, the higher the payout odds are. The more Outcomes you choose, the more "teams" become available (both high probability and low probability). Still, YOU (the better) do not CREATE the teams or set/choose the ODDS... they are given to you to choose from and the payout odds are determined by algorithm. They (The bookies) still create what you can wager on. If you want to wager on the Cowboys, Chiefs and Packers and the Cowboys isn't an options, you are SOL.

I am ALL for doing different types of betting systems within sportsbook (actually have prototypes of 2 small systems that may make it in at some point that includes member to member or member to group of members), however, a wagering system (yes, its a system) like you want is not a small system/feature, its a fairly large complex system.

I can tell you that if you are wanting this as a free core feature within Sportsbook, you'll be waiting A LONG time as I have so much more planned development stuff ahead of it that it will be months before I could even think about starting to work on something like this. With that said, anyone is more than welcome to request custom paid work... I do it ALL the time (both very large addons and custom small functionality tweaks).
