Not Planned [XF1] Frontend field editing

It would be very handy if it would be possible for members to edit a field directly instead of first editing the whole item.

What I am proposing is to show an edit icon or link next to each field, so that each field can be edited independently.

Marking this as Not Considered because it is not doable with the current architecture. Its not something that I am interested in adding as a future consideration at the moment either. If core XF decides to someday take this approach (with custom fields), then I'll be open to the idea.
