Implemented Upcoming events block

Would like to see an upcoming events block. One that could say show upcoming events in the next 24hrs or that day.

For those of you using the [bd] Widget Framework. I've replaced the Recent Events renderer for creating widgets with a new renderer that allows you to create Tabbed Events Widgets. You will need to delete any sportsbook evern widgets using the old render and create new sportsbook event widgets using the new render.

For those of you using XenPorta, I've replaced the "SportsbookRecentEvents" Block with SportsbookTabbedEvents Block (you will need to uninstall the old block and install AND configure the new block.

Well, you'll need to first upgrade Sportsbook itself. Then depending on which of the THREE you use (core XF Sidebar, BD Widget or XenPorta), there are different steps.

Core XF Sidebar: You will need to set all the options for it via Sportsbook Options (Forum Home Tab).

BD Widget Framework: You will first need to delete any OLD Sportsbook Recent Events widgets that you created and then create new Sportsbook Tabbed Events widgets using the new tabbed events renderer. There is no XML inloved with the BD Widget Framework.

XenPorta: You will first need to delete any OLD Sportsbook Recent Events Blocks, then you will need to add a new block (with the SportsbookTabbedEvents XML). Once it is installed, you can edit the block and configure it. Then you can place the block on what ever layouts you are using.

I've added the "Upcoming Events" as a stand alone sidebar block for Sportsbook Home and Sportsbook Category pages (both with their own configurations so you can set each one differently). The block displays immediately below the Categories Block. The Sportsbook Home block displays events from ALL categories where as the block on a category page only displays events within that category.


As you can see, I have the Upcoming Events blocked enabled and displaying any open events that will be closing within the next 72 hours.
