Member wanted a custom tabbed Widget built for the [bd] Widget Framework that didn't use the built in tabbed widgets functionality as they wanted more control over it without effecting the other single widgets within the framework (own options, own templates etc).
The new renderer will be included in the core addon (RC 1 release).
This is what it looks like in its basic mode (it can be further customized by editing the template. If you know what you are doing, you can modify the renderer as well without effecting the other renderers (which is another reason the client wanted to do it).
This is the ADMIN view. You can see that there is a setting for the Item limits as well as deciding which tabs you want active for the widget.
