Sportsbook and [bd] Banking Integration

This will be the cover-all for integration between Sportsbook and [bd] Banking.

1st off, make sure you have purchased Sportsbook from here, have it fully installed. Next, install [bd] Banking.

Here is what your Sportsbook Options should look like:

If you notice, the Currency Symbol there is a $, change it to whatever you want.

[bd] Banking options should look like this:



This fully integrates the two. Everything a user earns from posting, either a new thread or a reply, a bonus for a like, etc, will now be deposited into the sportsbook_cash table, making use of only 1 currency.

Doing it this way allows you to use all the "Cash Management" tools built into Sportsbook as well as still using the Tools built into BD Bank.

Its really the best way if you want the best options of both addons.

Yes. You are STILL using BD Bank, you are just telling it to use a different field in the xf_user table. You lose NO BD Bank functionality.

Ok, I just made these changes initially having $905.oo, but once I made the changes my Money now shows only $20.00? Originally Bob B you told me to have Sportsbook settings set to [BD] Banking when I first started Sportsbook. What gives?

Yea, in the [Bd]Banking which the Sportsbook was initially connected to "before" I made changes specified in this thread. But since everything worked fine before I made these changes I have since just went back to the initial settings ;-).

might be because you were a few versions behind and I had modified the Options a bit and you simple need to check your options settings.
