Show only items custom field = somevalue

I have custom field that uses radioboxes.

Is it possible to show all items that have the same value in an list view like:

www.mysite.com/showcase/category/whatever.1/customfieldA=abc

Showcase has an Advanced Field Search functionality specifically developed for finding items by custom fields. It is part of Search Showcase function.

ADMIN NOTE: in order for the Field to be shown on this page, you have to enabled the field for search (see next image)



As mentioned above, you must enable the field to be searchable or it won't be displayed on the forum. You can also add a description for each field to the forum (in case you feel it needs instructions)


Here is a result of searching based on Tank Size 120-300 Gallons.

Yeah, I know that

But I just need a link list, I could put on my forum sidebar like:

Show all Tanks with

• 75-90 Gallons
• 90-120 Gallons
• 120-300 Gallons

So my users do not need to use the search!

That has been suggested and is targeted for Showcase 3.x series: http://xenaddons.com/threads/filter-items-based-on-custom-fields.625/ Kinda similar to how filtering is done on sites like Amazon.com
