    @Bob The option to send reminders through the notification system--as well as email--would be nice as well. IE: Winnings in the sportsbook-- A notification ... (I've no clue what I"m talking about) a cron job on Thursday's that's a reminder for Saturday/Sunday's picks in the Pickem?

    Pickem already has reminders. Each week has an "Alert date". That date is what is used to determine when the system sends out reminders to players that have not yet made their picks (if they've already made their picks, they won't get a reminder).

    The first reminder is sent out 48 hours before the ALERT DATE. The second reminder is sent out 24 hours before the ALERT DATE. I usually set the Alert Date to Friday at 6am eastern (so that it sends out the 48 hour reminder on Wen morning and the 24 hour reminder Thur morning (because a lot of players forget to make the Thur night game pick). This has worked well for us. I know others that set the Alert Date to "Game day" (the day when a majority of the games are played), so that reminders are sent out 48/24 hours before game day.
