PUSH is a betting term. In sports betting, a PUSH means that the outcome is neither TRUE (Pays out) or FALSE (loss), so it is classified a PUSH and any stakes made on the outcome will be returned. Its most commonly used when a sporting event results in a TIE score.

No, once an event is settled, its basically LOCKED. If you make a mistake, you will need to handle that manually by either giving the effected users the cash they should have received or take it away if they got some that they shouldn't.

You should only ever check PUSH on an outcome when you want to return the STAKES for that outcome.

If you have an outcome that says "Bears will beat the Raiders" and the game ends in a tie, this outcome should be a PUSH because the bears did not beat the Raiders, but they also did not lose to the raiders either, they tied, there for the result in the sports betting world would be a PUSH.

Its also used in case like Major League Baseball games that START, but then have a rain delay that cause the game to be "called" and rescheduled for another day, however, there was game play, so things like props do get settled, so the event still needs to be settled and props do get paid out, but other outcomes will be pushed as they can't be settled.
