Not Planned Custom list view

We publish a lot of lists on our website that are maintained by "by the website (or those administrating the forum)", where we typically don't care (or want) things like who the user was submitted, when the item was created, etc. (this isn't true for all categories, but a subset where we don't want user submissions).

In addition to list, grid, and card views; could you add a custom a "custom list view" option where it doesn't force xenforo's default implementation and provides a simple list like: Title, URL, and potentially selection of a few custom fields if defined?

Quick question, are you aware that Link DIrectory has Style Properties for Layout Types that allow you to enable/disable several elements of each layout type? If not, check it out :)

I was not, however, taking a look at that, it unfortunately doesn't meet my need :(

1) The items I want to hide aren't an option
2) The styling is applied globally, not per category

I can't guess what those are. Maybe post a screenshot of each layout type and circle the elements that you want to hide, that you can't currently enable/disable.

You can't set style properties on a per NODE or CATEGORY basis. What you'd do in this case is set a custom style for the Node or Category and then set the style properties for that custom style.

We'd like to hide the entire structItem-minor row on List View
  • Username
  • Date
However, introducing these doesn't help much since we'd still have to modify the style anyways to only apply to the specific category.

I've marked this as Not Planned as it would be better for you to pursue custom development in this case.
