Not Planned Default image placeholder - use xenforo avatar generation

Instead of showing the submitters avatar as a default image placeholder, can you generate the image placeholder using xenforo's prebuilt avatar based on the title of the item?

Many of our lists are not user submitted and maintained by the website. In this case, the user information becomes noise and doesn't match any theme we have.

Categories have an option to upload a Category content image url. The purpose of this is for use cases where the item itself does not have a cover image, so it uses the category content image as the "cover image". The User Avatar is a fallback in rare cases where there is no item cover image or category image.

Anything beyond that is going to require customization.
