Comment before registering

To attract new users to your forum, comments can now be submitted by guest users, using the writing before registering system

NOTE: AMS has both the ability for Guest Posting (has nothing to do with the write before register) AND also has Comment before registering (which only comes into play if you have Write before registering configured AND guest do not have permission to post comments). If your guest user group has permission to post comments, the write before register will NOT come into play.

Here are a few screen shots... not much to show as it works the same for Threads, Posts, Resource Ratings, Media Gallery comments etc etc etc... its one system that works the same for all content types that implement a Pre Register Action handler.

This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
How i can manage it by admin?
Write Before Register is a Core XF function, so MOST of the options are controlled by Core XF Settings in the Admin CP (and there is plenty of information about that posted at XenForo.com).

You need to ENABLE the Write Before Registering system.

The only thing you really need to be concerned with for AMS, is making sure you are not giving guests permission to post AMS comments as if you do, that overrides the Write Before Register system. AMS also has guest posting which is DIFFERENT then Write Before Register, so if you give guests permission to post comments in AMS, that overrides the Write Before Register for AMS Comments and instead enables Guest Posting for Comments in AMS.

2 simple steps... Enable writing before registering and make sure your guest user group does not have the ability to post AMS comments.
