It would be nice for admin/or any user to be able to select/edit the posted/posting date of any/all AMS articles the designated user posts.

This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
This is a re-implementation of an AMS 1.x feature that allows the Article Author or Moderators to change the Publish Date and Last Update date for a given article.

If the viewing user is the Author and the Author has permission to EDIT the Article, they will be able to change the article dates. If the viewing user is a Moderator and has the permission to edit any article, they will be able to change the article dates.

Clicking on the link launches an overlay that lets you set the Publish date/time and Last update date/time.

Note: Just like in AMS 1.x, you can NOT use this to set a date into the FUTURE! If you attempt to set a date into the future, the save process will thrown an error.

Note 2: Just like AMS 1.x, if you attempt to set the Last Update date to a date/time that is older than the Publish date/time, the Publish date/time will be used to set the Last Update date.
