Is there any way to allow users to bet either for or against a specific outcome? Or do I have to create a second opposite outcome?

No, its always FOR. If the outcome is TRUE, it pays out.

For a typical NFL Event, I have at least 6-8 outcomes (and more if I have time).

Raiders ML
Chiefs +3
Raiders -3
Chiefs score first
Raiders score first
First score Safety
First score Field Goal
First score Touchdown

Alright, that's the way I've been setting up events, but for some things it's a bit cumbersome.

No. Placing wagers on outcomes and settling events won't be changing.
