This has been implemented in AMS 2.2.28
When reassigning a single article and that article has any article pages, the option "Reassign article pages to new owner" option will be available (checked by default).
When checking the "Notify the current and new owners of this action. Reason:" alerts will also be sent to the update and page owners.
This works for bulk reassigning articles via Inline Moderation as well.
Note: The "Reassign article pages to new owner" option is always included on this form.
