    Anyway to have a PDF file be an Article or import it into an article?

    You can upload a PDF as an attachment to the article, however, the XF attachments system does not have a PDF viewer built into it, so users would have to download the PDF and view it on their device (some browsers let you view PDF attachments inline as well).

    Maybe that would work for you?

    It is an option. I know AndyB has an addon that will show a PDF file without downloading it. Though it doesn't work in Chrome.
