There are a few changes to the News View Layout in AMS 1.5.0 Beta 1.
First change is that the Byline is either ON or OFF (set by the Layout Options) AND its the full byline (no individual on/off switches for each element anymore) You'll have to customize the template to remove the piece of the byline that you don't want. (exception is that the category is not part of the byline for NV as it has a category display option).
Second change is that the Byline has been moved to the bottom of the layout (after the snippet).
Third change is that the Tags have been moved to the bottom of the layout (after the byline).
Forth change is that the layout now uses a combination of AMS Layout CSS (common shared classes) and News View Layout CSS (News View specific Classes)
Fifth change is several "tweaks" have been made to CSS elements and responsive behavior (better handling of Fields and Ratings).
Here are a couple screen shots with various configurations that show you the changes.
NOTE: There may be more adjustments made to this before release in which case I will post another update!
These next 2 demonstrate how the responsive break points effect the layout of fields/ratings.
In this shot there is room to display inline
In this shot, you can see how the responsive CSS comes into play to prevent breaking of the ratings display (and other field types).
