Partially Implemented Let members open/close commenting for an item, or opt out of comments

We're thinking about enabling commenting on Showcase, however some members are angry about it. They're afraid of negative feedback and want control over whether people can comment or not.

It could be an option on their user preferences to allow/disable commenting on their Showcase items, or it could be a per-item 'allow comments on this item' ticky box.

Opening/Closing of comments is currently a MODERATOR functionality only (similar to the locking of a thread to prevent further posts from being made). If this gets enough support, I'll consider it. IIRC, I gave Article Authors control in AMS, so its not like its much work to change in Showcase.
