How To Change the Name 'Sportsbook'

Phrases xi_sportsbook & xi_sportsbook_sportsbook

The Term Sportsbook is also used in other phrases as well.

Sportsbook is also used in mutliple routes (which you just can't "change"). You can probably use Jakes route changer with this, but its not been tested.

 

xi_sportsbook_welcome_header (It used to be the header of the page, but the beta testers convinced me to move it to the sidebar... just have not updated the name of the phase yet lol).

1. You don't (and this applies to all addons). You will need an addon if you want to change URLs. Jake released an addon called "Route Changer" that MIGHT work (don't know as I don't think routes should be changed so I've never used it). If not, you will have to spend a few days editing pretty much every template and every file changing route stuff (and you really need to know what you are doing or it will mess things up big time). You can change all the Phrases without issue, but when you start messing with ROUTES, thats a whole nother ball game.

2. Edit the Phrase xi_sportsbook_recent_events

3 & 4. No. Both of those functionalities would need to be built into BD Bank itself.

 

1. BD Bank is a 3rd party Addon with its own cash administration. The administrative functionality you want is something that BD Bank lacks, not Sportsbook (as I have this feature built into Sportsbook for its own cash system administration). Why don't you set BD Bank to use the sportsbook_cash field and then use Sportsbook Cash for Sportsbook (which then allows you to use all the Tools I built in for Sportsbook Cash). Just work with Stewart on it.. he can square you away..

2. Alerts and Newsfeeds for Payouts are in the works. As far as a "leaderboard", there is an entire STATs area that has that information and more.

3. Again, BD Bank is a 3rd party addon. I am not building anything into Sportsbook to control things within BD Bank. All sportsbook does is share a common field in the xf_user table. It does not and will not interact with BD BANK. The way to look at this is that you are using CASH, not an ATM Card, so no, BD Bank will not have a history of what you spend your CASH on or how much CASH you receive. Sportsbook does not withdraw or deposit into your bank.... it deals strictly with cash.

4. More Enhanced Event Administration on the backend is being worked on. There are A LOT of things to factor in on removing an event that has been settled. Its not as straight forward as you might think. That is why settled events are non removable right now.

 

The Navigation Tab uses the phrase: nflj_sportsbook That phrase is also used in several other places throughout the addon as well, however, there are several hundred sportsbook phrases. You can filter the phrase list with nflj_sportsbook so that it only displays phrases pertaining to Sportsbook. Also, you can use the search phrases functionality to find all phrase that have the term sportsbook in it.

Another thing you might want to do is create a route filter to change the route: sportsbook (used in the URLs) to what ever you are wanting to rename it to ie route: bookie This is done with the route filters system that comes with XenForo.
