How can I set "Open" as default.

Hi,

which template and what part of the code would I need to edit, to make "Open" the default filter when someone clicks on Sportsbook? At the moment it's Any and this shows all event statuses which can be confusing for new users.

And if I remove the 'Any' Tab, from the 'nflj_sportsbook_index' template, would everything still work fine?

Its a lot more complicated than a template edit. It requires code changes (to many to list here). Its not something a non developer could easily do. You'd need to know how to code as there are changes in multiple controllers (multiple actions as well) as well as modifications to the event Model.

As with any customization, you should have a development environment so that you can try things out on your own.

Can you add an option in ACP which allows Admins to set the default filter? This option will be useful to other forum owners as well.

Ya, thats kinda what my thought process is as well. Can you do me a favor and start a thread in suggestions about adding this functionality?
