Thanks for putting this out Bob, we have plans to use get this up and running on our live site over the weekend.

Of course I have a couple suggestions/requests to throw your way

1) the ability to change the 'sportsbook' hard-coded paths in the URLs to something else (we're not using for sport).
2) the ability to upload image into the individual event descriptions, say, image of a TV show or actor, perhaps replacing the category icon, per event.

I think these thing will make it even better for us non-sports users

once again, great work with this.

1. You might be able to use Jake's Route Changer add-on for that.
2. That is already built in. Go to AdminCP ----> Sportsbook ------> Category Management. You can add any category you want. There is a field for you to enter the file name for the image. Upload image to: styles/default/xenfluence/sportsbook/cat_logo

What I mean with images was individual images for events, rather then for the whole category.

We can create a category "movies" with a movie icon, but then if we create an event about sean connery, we can add his image into it the event description too.

I've been thinking about adding the ability to attach images (using the xf attachment system). Haven't done much with sportsbook the last couple weeks due to trying to get pickem released lol. I've added this to the "want" list

Survivor, Music Awards, etc... Or are you wanting to group under the category of "Television", then sub categories of each show or event? Just using TV as an example of course...

So with Sean Connery... can't you just create a Category about that. Have his image? I think I might be confused here.

no, it would be individual attachments in each event,
It's just one event betting on sean connery, not a category about him. Hope that clears it up
