That standard functionality with the XF editor, which CAS and all XenAddons produtcs use.

@Saul can you please update your suggestion and include more details. It is extremely vague as to what you are wanting as like @Mouth mentioned, the XenForo RTE (RIch Text Editor) already has the ability to display external images and I use the XF RTE in all of my addons.
