Answered Create Article without Discussion Thread?

This may be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find a setting... is it possible to configure AMS so that it does not create a discussion thread when an article is created?

I'll post the answer for others that might have the same question

Creating an associated discussion thread is a Per Category option. Simply edit each category and unset the "Automatically create thread in forum" option (set to None)
