This breaks the standard from AMS, etc., but I feel as if it's worthy of a link directory.

All link directories, at least in the past, had a "standard" category-like selection page, as opposed to a sidebar.

Perhaps, a dedicated page for just categories to fall in the footsteps of DMOZ, etc., or a widget in this type of format?
