    I know that you're looking at enhancing Showcase to make it better for reviews. Something that I think that would enhance that is the ability to link review products to Amazon hence allowing site owners to benefit from their affiliate scheme.

    Currently our reviews are implemented via a XF-Wordpress bridge which then uses the following extension:

    why only Amazon? isn't better a more generic way to add affiliation code to the url? (there's already some xenforo addons that do it on posts)

    Agreed generic would begood but I think the particular advantage of amazon is that it can then embed product information (such as price) into the review. Our experience is also that amazon & ebay account for approx 90-95% of all affiliate revenue.
