Not Possible Allow for different image dimensions per category

    Is it possible to have different image dimensions per category? It would increase flexibility depending on category.

    Not within the XenForo attachment system. And even if it could, its not something that can be done on a per category basis since items from all categories could be potentially displayed on the same page and all the layouts are developed based on the image size being the same (so that the content containers are the same sizes). This is especially important on GRID based layouts (Grid View, Tile View, News View and News View II).

    Not possible within the existing architecture. That type of layout requires a certain type of architecture and image processing (which is almost the opposite of what Showcase is doing). I get that some people like it, but its not something that can co exist with the current architecture.
