Is it possible to add a Highest Winners widget (like the one on statistics) but in a simple table with their username and their winnings to the homepage?

It would require programming. There are 2 ways you could do it. You could create an addon that extends Sportsbook so that you could tie into the existing controller that is adding Sportsbook Content to the Forum Home page. The other way is to create an addon that extends the [bd] Widget Framework to add a new Renderer. Both would require programming.
