As per title, some sites using Showcase are missing a column 'meta_description', which has been a field in showcase for quite some time, but not used until the latest release (which immediately started throwing errors for sites that were missing that column for what ever reason).
I've released a new version that has an upgrade step that will add this column to the items table if the field is missing (and will ignore it for instances where the column already exists).
