Trying to understand create sibling category

Hi,

I have tried to create a new category with the create sibling option. I expected a sibling would have the same kind of configuration as the category as created from? But now the only thing that is the same between the siblings is that the parent category is already filled in. I would have suspected (or hoped ) that it would also copy category options and item tab options. This would save me a lot of time if it did

I've removed those (create sibling/create child) in SC 1.4.0 as they served no actual purpose beyond simply setting the parent category.

What you want (category cloning) does not exist in either SC 1.3.1 or SC 1.4.0.

I believe it has already been suggested and rejected (you'd have to look through the suggestions forums).
