Answered Showcase Navigation - widget?

Is there a way to list the categories of Showcase within a widget displayed on a home page? I'd like a link from there to the appropriate showcase area.

Kind of like a copy of the showcase menu sidebar that lists the parent/child categories and their links.

What is wrong with using the included Widget Definition "Showcase: Category navigation"? That definition is specifically for creating Showcase Category navigation widgets.

Showcase includes 9 Widget Definitions that allow you to create several types of widgets that display Showcase information. Most of these definitions have several configuration settings allowing you to make dozens of unique widgets from a single definition.
