Remove carousel from gallery

Sorry, I know this is discussed somewhere, as I've asked about it in the past. I just can't find the thread in my bookmarks. I am trying to make the Images tab in Showcase display thumbnails without the carousel on my dev site, like I've done here:

I can't remember if it was a file edit or just a template edit. Sorry for the duplicate question.

Change the Item Gallery Type in the Options >> Showcase - Item Pages to "Custom Gallery (unsupported)".
