It would be really useful to be able to see how many users clicked on the website link for an Item. We use affiliate links in RMS and often we have no idea if users are clicking the link or not.

I don't know if this is technically viable somehow. Many years ago we used a Link Directory with review functionality that had this. We could even sort Items by number of click-troughs.
Being able to see how many clicks ITEMS have was really useful for cases were our users were clicking the links, but affiliate programs did not register any visits. (This happens really often)
Or for identifying ITEMS that users are not clicking the links for and are therefore not valuable in this respect.

Link Directory has Click Tracking for the Website URL. Its just a simple bit of JavaScript that when the external website URL is clicked on, it logs a "Click" count to a field in the item table. Super simple function.

That would be really nice to see for RMS.
