Hi there,

I'm sorry if the thread already created by anyone but there is a problem on Google Search Console page. If you look that, probably you will see this issue Structured Data area of Google Search Console like this:

Template name:
nflj_showcase_item_sidebar

Code:
Code:
<div class="section statsList" id="showcaseInfo" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="http://data-vocabulary.org/Review-aggregate">

Sources and tests:

Regards,

What exactly IS the problem? You posted a bunch of stuff and never posted what the PROBLEM IS.

If you are asking about THIS, then this has been known for several years now and is an issue with the XenForo Resource Manager as well. Showcase uses the same exact code as the RM (for standardization purposes).

Its also the same exact issue with XenForo Media Gallery (as it too uses the same exact standardized code from the RM).

Yes I see... Then it's not a bug sorry Bob thank you for support. But I have a question why this has been known for several years and still haven't solved yet? Interesting :)

Im not sure. Maybe its because its more of a warning type thing than it is a real error. Google does that a lot (say things are "errors' when they really are not "ERRORS" as we know it.

In webmaster tools... I've noticed that items that have no reviews get errors:

And items with reviews don't get the errors.

Is there a way to fix this in the code to not give the error? I don't think not having a review would give an error - maybe it expects a "zero stars" or "no reviews have been submitted" to be where the review would normally be?

This is what you get when you click on the "!"

That page is here:

With their testing tool I get this:

And this:

Hopefully there's a way to fix how the items are displayed so these errors don't come up.

Structured data is HUGE in the search results.

Also not sure why the title in the breadcrumb is giving an error.. that's strange..

Huh... so it's an XF thing. Hopefully they'll solve that nut. Maybe I'll post on there.

Although on my other site with an install of XFMG... it doesn't get any errors:

I don't think its necessarily an "XF" thing, however, you can see by the above images, that the URLs were taken directly from xenforo.com in the RM and XFMG.

I just ran a quick check with googles validation tools (Structured Data Testing Tool) and its still happening on XenForo.com with both the RM and XFMG

Huh... has someone let them know about it? I did a search for Structured Data on their site and nothing came up.

Im sure it has been brought up with as many people that use both the RM and XFMG. I used to do showcase a bit different (based on the way Digital Point does his), but changed over to using the Core XenForo rating template for standardization purposes.

Core XenForo just made an adjustment to this (in both the Resource Manager and Media Gallery), so I've applied those same changes to Showcase (SC 2.6.0 Beta 1).

Awesome. I'm still seeing 2.5.4 in the download area for me which appears to be the version I'm running. I'm assuming these changes are for the next version whenever that comes out? Just making sure I'm not missing the correct download link for some reason.

Hope all is well.

Changes are with SC 2.6.0 Beta 1. When I am feeling better, I'll post a quick fix that you can apply until the next release.

No worries... I can wait until next release. You don't have the flu too do you? It's going around like crazy here.
